The MCats put on their best 1960s garb, Jon put on his best guitar face, and Susan Miller took the mic for 1960s night at the MCT Auction. We only broke one fluorescent light. And we raised $2600 for the McCarthy-Towne school. The fact that we had people dancing – at the auction – was a bonus!

The rain cleared. The lighting was great. A large crowd was expected. The sound check was perfect. Naturally, we expected the worst. But the block party on Acton’s Madison Lane hosted by the Durand and Meusel families was a blast. The MCats played two sets. A more laid-back daylight set, and a rockin’ night set that got everybody dancing. Thanks to all involved!

The MCats’ 11th performance. It was a rainy, buggy, cool night. Not ideal. But we managed to squeeze in a couple dozen songs between downpours. I’m told the party crowd enjoyed the show. I wanted to dedicate one song to my wife for our anniversary (also 06/22). We’re constantly changing our repertoire, so my choices (of the songs I sing) were few. I chose Psycho Killer. My other option was It’s All Been Done. Good thing my wife understand my goofy sense of humor.
